I picked up this Genesis G70 for a throw away work commuter and the audio in it continues to blow me away. The funny thing… the best factory audio I’ve heard… and I’ve done many recent high end cars… BMW’s diamond audio package, the Bowers and Wilkens… etc…įor whatever reason…. But I regretted losing the floor space - forever. I had 2200 watts in my raptor with an MTI and two 12’s at 1200 watts and it was pretty solid. I may just put down the 15-20k and let Nick do Focals with some a Helix DSP and amps. My last few systems I did myself over many hours…. Nick Apicella might be one of the best in the game for doing trick high end auto in trucks. The speaker locations are dynamite though for a nice active 3-way up front. Anyone who has had a properly tuned system with real components (like you) knows just how many nuanced sounds this thing isn’t projecting. The HK sub sounds cheap and boomy and the rest of the 18 speaker system sounds coaxial.
